Join Grandmaster William C. C. Chen for a one-day workshop in Boulder, Colorado, July 13, 2019. This workshop is designed for students who are currently practitioners of any Yang Style Tai Chi form and who are interested in understanding more about how internal mechanics work and how they may apply them to their own practice. The workshop will include Yang Style Short Form Mechanics, Push Hands Skills, Form Applications, Push Hands Techniques, and Tai Chi Sword Mechanics.
Grandmaster William C. C. Chen is one of the world’s finest Tai Chi instructors. His training classes and workshops offer a safe environment and he makes sure everyone gets the help they need. He has a great sense of humor and his love of teaching is evident. He is very generous in sharing his excellent skills and personal and professional integrity with all who take his classes. Grandmaster William C. C. Chen has devoted his life to the study of body mechanics and the effects of Tai Chi Chuan for the art of self-defense as well as for physical health, and to the application of the principles of Tai Chi Chuan. His approach is to make Tai Chi Chuan simple, easier, natural, enjoyable and productive.
William C. C. Chen was born in Chekiang, China. He started teaching Tai Chi Chuan at the beginning of the 1950s while training as a live-in student of the famous Great-Grandmaster Cheng Man-Ching who preferred to be called Professor Cheng. Workshop Venue
The workshop is at the CU-Boulder Recreation Center in Studio 2, which is close to the front desk where you check in. This is one of the nation’s premier collegiate recreation centers. We will have further information about parking closer to the workshop date. There will be several parking options including, a free lot, and a parking garage and street parking using ParkMobile.
